Especially when you are looking forward to the next wave of Volvo models to make their way to Wilmington. You can bet Volvo has some tricks up its sleeve when it comes to the new model year. So far, we know we are learning more about the luxurious crossover lineup and the compact S60 sedan. But you can be sure there is more to come as we get closer to the big unveiling of the rest of the 2021 Volvo models.

What is in store for 2021

2021 Volvo XC40

Let us start from the beginning. The all-new subcompact XC40 gets even better for the new year. With the XC40 Recharge, it becomes the first all-electric SUV, as Volvo starts its shift toward alternative powered vehicles by 2025. Its all-electric powertrain promises 400 horsepower and a range of more than 200 miles between charges. It gets its energy from its 78-kWh battery pack. If you are looking for the latest driver-assist technology, look no further than the XC40 Recharge. It is the first Volvo to be equipped with the Advanced Driver Assistance System. Ultrasonic sensors and a variety of cameras.

2021 Volvo XC60

The next step up in the SUV lineup is the XC60. It isn't Volvos' best-selling crossover for nothing. It has one of the finest cabins of any SUV you'll find in Wilmington and cuts a sleek shadow as you roll down the street. Now, it will look sharper than ever, after going through a makeover. The new XC60 features a wider front grille and signature Thor's Hammer headlights. Starting in 2021, all Volvo XC60 trim levels will be able to keep you connected like never before. The Sensus infotainment system brings you navigation and entertainment options like Spotify, Pandora, or TuneIn. All are easily accessible through the large touchscreen.

2021 Volvo XC90

If there is one thing you can count on from a Volvo, it is its dedication to safety. The XC90 takes your safety to the next level by adding new standard driver-assist features, typically considered upgrades. Now, each XC90 will come with blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, park assist, and cornering LED headlights. But the additions don't stop there. Wireless charging for your cell phones or tablets now comes standard. It is just another way the XC90 is taking you to the next level of luxury.

2021 Volvo S60

There are small cars, then there is the luxurious Volvo S60. It brings its upscale cabin and advanced features to Wilmington drivers in 2021. It brings a new style to the new year with 18-inch wheels and keyless entry. Illuminated door handles bring a little flair to this practical and elegant sedan. It also welcomes the S60 Recharge to the lineup, as it shifts toward a powerful plug-in hybrid.

It is evident there is a lot to get excited about with the new lineup of 2021 Volvo models. Union Park Volvo Cars can't wait to see what else the future holds for its sophisticated roster of cars and wagons. We know you will be thrilled, as well.
